I’m Mike Thorpe. I set up the Design Chapel in 1994 – as a graphic design practice from within a converted chapel – hence the name, which has stuck since, despite no longer being based in the chapel.
I’m an experienced graphic designer, working in all fields of the printed media.
As you can see in the portfolio pages, I have been involved in a wide range of projects including corporate identity, advertising, magazines, brochures, websites, posters, exhibition work and books. My clients have come from a variety of backgrounds: charities; corporate; public bodies; individuals.
Each job is taken on its merits and the design approach is particular to each client’s needs and aims. I believe in both creativity and reliability and recognise that one without the other will not produce the required results.
